Carl is a seasoned executive search consultant with nearly three decades of experience in physician, nursing, and advanced practice provider (APP) recruitment. He has held senior leadership roles across executive, physician, APP, and nursing search, as well as hospital administration, health plan operations, and medical group management. His deep industry expertise and national network enable him to align organizations with high-impact clinical leaders who meet today’s complex operational and strategic demands.

Prior to founding Fitch Clinical Leadership Search, Carl launched and led multiple national practices in healthcare executive and academic medicine search. He has also served as U.S. Service Delivery Leader for a global executive search firm, overseeing professional search, project-based recruitment, and healthcare RPO, and as Vice President of Corporate Development for a national healthcare staffing organization. He began his career with Kaiser Permanente as Director of Provider Services, where he chaired the Recruitment and Retention Committee.

A recognized thought leader, Carl has been published in Medical Economics, the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association Newsletter, and Training Magazine. Based in the DFW area, he supports a national practice serving a wide variety of clients across more than 30 states.
